How does it work?
Capps Controls uses an Australian manufactured and approved transmitter and receiver operating on 433 MHz and encrypted 32 Bit digital code to provide one of the most secure wireless radio links available.
The receiver and quality pneumatic control valves are contained in a 200mm by 120mm box that is usually mounted under or behind the driver’s seat and is connected via 1/4" or 6mm polyurethane lines into the existing control circuit for the trucks hydraulic system. Alternatively we have weatherproof external mount kits which function in the same way.
When the truck PTO is engaged, voltage is supplied to Capps Controls and if the manual control is left in the neutral or hold position Capps Controls can be used to manage the tipping action both up, down, and hold pretty much anywhere within a range of approximately 50 meters of the truck cabin from a standard kit and even more if an external aerial is installed.
This means that Capps Controls operates as an accessory to the existing manual controls without touching the actual hydraulic system. The manual cab control is still in place and is useable if need be.
Best practices and procedures coupled with quality individual components mean that Capps Controls is a very simple yet wonderfully effective wireless accessory making the job safer and more efficient not just for tipping trucks but other applications also with electric or air control systems. So:
Watch it rise, no surprise!
